Yihao Wang

Yihao Wang (C’23) is an undergraduate student in the College with a Biology of Global Health major and Economics minor. He considers himself a global citizen, having lived in multiple cities around the world when growing up. His previous research experience includes studying how interactions of genetic mechanisms affect diapause evolution in natural populations by using container-breeding mosquitoes. After graduation, he hopes to pursue a career intersecting healthcare, business, and technology. Starting as a research assistant and continuing as a spring 2022 Global Health Initiative Student Fellow, he analyzes and codes policies for the COVID-19 Analysis and Mapping project with Dr. Rebecca Katz at the Center for Global Health Science and Security.
