Global Health Initiative Fellow
Ryan Remmel is a Global Health Initiative Fellow at the Center for Global Health Science and Security, where he previously worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher. As a fellow, he is working with Dr. Claire Standley and Dr. Ellen Carlin to conduct a systematic review of available multiplex diagnostic methods for acute febrile illness, in addition to supporting other projects.
At the Center, Ryan has provided research assistance in a variety of projects analyzing and supporting the response to the COVID-19 pandemic at the local, national, and international levels, as well as analyzing broader trends in health security policy. At Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, he is majoring in Science, Technology and International Affairs with a concentration in Biotechnology and Global Health and a minor in biology.
