Aurora Johnson is an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Center for Global Health Science and Security. She is a junior at Georgetown majoring in Science, Technology, and International Affairs with a concentration in Security and Technology and a minor in Spanish. Her interests include global health diplomacy, bio-security, and chemical and biological weapons.
Aurora has previous experience working on medical research policy for the Milken Institute Center for Strategic Philanthropy. She also works for the Center for Latin American Studies with Professor Jenny Guardado studying political and economic mechanisms affecting armed conflict and for the Government Department with Professor Erik Voeten using data-driven approaches to understand international institutions. Aurora is an avid Hoya basketball fan, and attends every game as a Georgetown University cheerleader.
