Emily Graul worked as a Research Intern at the Center for Global Health Science and Security. She is a student in the Georgetown University School of Nursing and Health Studies concentrating in Global Health and Pre-Medicine studies. Her interests include international implications of disease, social justice and health disparities, as well as the intersection of art and medicine.

Emily actively volunteers at community health care clinics both in Washington DC, La Clinica Del Pueblo, and in her home state of Nebraska, Clinic with a Heart. Before attending Georgetown, Emily independently organized a shoe drive and traveled to Honduras with One World Running to aid and elevate underprivileged communities through athletics and education.
