For sixty years, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) of the Department of Defense has held to a singular and enduring mission: to make pivotal investments in breakthrough technologies for national security. Central to that mission is ensuring health security for citizens of the United States and protecting the armed forces from biological threats. In the final Global Health Security Seminar of 2018, Col. Matthew Hepburn will discuss and demonstrate several novel technologies for responding to pandemics.

This event was a part of the Global Health Security Seminar Series, which is co-sponsored by Georgetown’s Center for Global Health Science and Security and the Global Health Initiative.
