Zoe O’Donoghue, Ph.D.

Dr. Zoe G. O’Donoghue is a Virologist and RNA Structural Biochemist with a passion for global health policy and STEM Education. She earned her PhD from the University of Colorado where her research focused on exploring the structure-function relationships of flavivirus RNAs. During that time, she co-developed and directed an after-school K-12 STEM education program for underserved students, while also engaging in a variety of science policy outreach and advocacy endeavors. Most recently, she served as a Senior Infectious Disease Advisor in the Bureau for Global Health at USAID during her tenure as an AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow. (she/her)
