Andrea Vaught, M.P.H.

Research Assistant

Andrea Vaught is a Research Assistant for the Center for Global Health Science and Security at Georgetown University, as well as a Master’s Candidate at The George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health studying Health Policy. Previously Andrea was with the research team as a Research Assistant with the Global Health Security Program at The George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health in the Department of Health Policy and Management.

She completed her undergraduate training at the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor with a BA in Sociology. Prior to her experience at GW, she interned at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health Center for Gun Policy and Research, examining the straw purchase of guns in eight states. Additionally, she interned at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Division of Infectious Disease on research concerning sexually transmitted infections.
