Riya Master is a Research Assistant at the Center for Global Health Science and Security. She is a rising sophomore at the University of California – Berkeley with an intended B.A. in Integrative Biology. Following her undergraduate studies, Riya hopes to move back to the East Coast and attend medical school. Her interests include disease control, antimicrobial resistance, and protection of health workers in conflict zones. Riya is working with Dr. Sorrell and Dr. Standley on a project assessing the legal authorities, policies, and agencies associated with border health in the United States.
