Avery League
Undergraduate Research Assistant
Avery League is an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Center for Global Health Science and Security. She is a junior at Georgetown University majoring in Science and Technology in International Affairs with a Biotechnology and Global Health concentration. She is also studying a French minor and a Computer Science minor equivalent. She has special interest in epidemiology and global health diplomacy, particularly in Latin America and Africa.
Avery previously worked as a Research and Policy Intern with fellows of the DC Primary Care Association to produce a report on maternal mortality in Washington, DC. She also serves as Executive Director of the 46th National Collegiate Security Conference, an international relations simulation for university students pursuing careers in security, diplomacy, and international business.
