“Kahiau Cockett-Nagamine is a 2021 ARCHES Fellow researching at the Center for Health Science and Global Security as a summer undergraduate research assistant. He is a first-generation rising senior at Creighton University, where he is majoring in Biology with a minor in Sociology. He is on the pre-medical track and hopes to address health disparities present in underserved communities in Hawaii. With his Pacific Islander background, he is focused on the response to COVID-19 in small-island countries.”
