Aleksandra Stamper, MAS

Aleksandra is a PhD candidate in Epidemiology at Brown University and Lead Analyst for Wastewater Epidemiology at the Center for Global Health Science and Security. She holds a master’s in Spatial Analysis for Public Health from Johns Hopkins and a bachelor’s in Biochemistry and Anthropology from Smith College.

During the 2026 World Cup, Aleksandra joined CGHSS to support the Health Security Operations Center.

Aleksandra’s research interests broadly center on infectious disease dynamics and public health surveillance. Her work uses statistical and mechanistic approaches to understand how climate and human behavior shape infectious disease outbreaks and to translate surveillance data into actionable public health insights.
