Sayantika Ghosh (G’23) is a graduate student in the Master of Science in Microbiology & Immunology program at Georgetown University. After obtaining her medical degree (M.B.B.S.) from Government Medical College, Agartala, she worked as a junior physician in one of the popular hospital chains in India. The immovable barriers of affliction she encountered during her academic training were far too menacing to be left unaddressed. Hence, her goal is to work towards changing the healthcare experience of the vulnerable sections of the population and extending help to those who truly need support. At the Center for Global Health Science and Security, she is working on compiling COVID19-related policies for India.
