Anna Bezruki
Anna Bezruki is a doctoral student in the Global Infectious Disease program at Georgetown University. Her research is focused on the global governance of outbreak preparedness and response. Prior to beginning her doctoral work, she worked as a research officer at the Global Health Centre, Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. There, she contributed to projects on international pathogen and data sharing, Covid-19 vaccine advance purchase agreements, and global health governance reform efforts.
She was a 2022 Emerging Leader in Biosecurity Fellow (Center for Health Security, Johns Hopkins University). She holds a master’s degree in international affairs from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and an A.B. in biology from Bryn Mawr College.
