Medical Laboratory Technologist at Synbio Africa

Erikan Baluku is a Medical Laboratory Technologist at Synbio Africa. He has a Bachelor’s Degree from Makerere University in Biomedical Laboratory Technology and a certificate in Bacterial and Chronic infection from University of Copenhagen. At Synbio Africa, Erikan is involved in the laboratory and research sector and focuses on solutions for local problems. He also coordinates the ambassador program. As a master’s student, Erikan has engaged in global research projects on COVID-19. Specifically, he focused on analyzing COVID-19 diagnostic tools, and trained people on how to use testing machines. Erikan continues to work on researching how to create sustainability and innovations to help health fields in the African continent.
